Around The University

These photos are taken around The University of New Mexico (UNM) before or after photographing special events/portrait sessions, or when I see something intriguing while traveling between buildings. Enjoy these photos throughout the seasons and continue to explore the wonderful landscape, vegetation, and architecture of UNM.

All Staff Car Show & Safety Fair

Facilities Management (FM) hosts an annual car show and safety fair with internal participants from the department with various vintage and custom vehicles. This year the 6th Annual Car Show & Safety Fair transformed to encompass all ISS staff which includes 16 departments with over 600 employees. The event had:

  • 31 individuals showcasing their custom vehicles, motorcycles, trucks, and classic rides.

  • 14 vendors featuring hands-on demonstrations, booths, and safety resources designed to educate and engage the campus community. various safety equipment

  • 3 food trucks with UNM Food providing free hot dogs and drinks for staff. Laguna Burger and Bing Tea provided additional food options for participants to enjoy.

Our event had over 200 participants, music, and raffle prizes. These select photos highlight the diverse ISS staff that attended the event.

PATS Window Wraps

This project involved creating a full window-wrap cling for the Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) Business Office, featuring my photography. In collaboration with the vendor, I ensured that all guidelines set by the Environmental Signage Committee and UCAM were strictly followed. The design was installed to enhance the campus environment, with a focus on aligning with the University of New Mexico's aesthetic goals. This prominently displayed artwork contributes to the visual appeal of the space while adhering to the institution's standards.
